A Campaign Born From Grit, Community, and Purpose 🥊
written by Rachel Riot
At Bread & Butter Garms, we’ve always believed that fashion should mean more than just good looks. It should carry a message, inspire action, and unite people through a shared purpose. That’s exactly what our new campaign, “GET THE BREAD,” is all about.
This isn’t just another streetwear drop. Nope — this one’s rooted in something real, raw, and powerful: the spirit of boxing, the strength of community, and the importance of mental health.
And the spark? It came straight out of Aldershot’s very own @ardbattletested gym — a place where discipline, resilience, and belief aren’t just words… they’re a way of life.
Why Boxing? Because It’s More Than Just a Sport
Boxing is more than gloves and punches. It’s a mindset. A discipline. A therapy.
Here’s what boxing teaches — both inside and outside the ring:
-
Focus: You can’t afford to lose it when you’re dodging punches.
-
Confidence: Every jab builds self-belief.
-
Resilience: You fall, you get back up — again and again.
-
Structure: It gives people routine and purpose.
-
Mental Health Support: Boxing is therapy for the mind and soul.
For many at ARD Training Camp, boxing has been a lifeline. A way to stay grounded. A way to fight battles that aren’t always visible to the outside world.
Introducing: The “GET THE BREAD” Tee 🍞
When Andre, the head coach at ARD, invited our team to take part in their upcoming Interclub event, we knew we couldn’t just show up — we had to show up with purpose.
And from that moment, the “GET THE BREAD” campaign was born.
So what’s it all about?
“GET THE BREAD” is a call to:
-
Chase your goals with grit
-
Fight your battles with courage
-
Win your rounds — in the gym, in life, and everywhere in between
This limited-edition tee is designed to inspire action. To be worn by go-getters, fighters, believers, and everyday heroes. Whether you’re lacing up your gloves or clocking into work, this tee is for you.
👉 And yes — it looks fresh, too.
More Than Style — It’s About Giving Back
Here’s the real heart of the campaign: giving back to those who need it most.
The Interclub event is raising vital funds for Phyllis Tuckwell, a charity doing incredible work by providing specialist hospice care for people facing terminal illness — especially cancer — while also supporting their loved ones.
Event Details:
📍 Location: A.R.D Training Camp, Grosvenor Road, Aldershot, GU11 3EA
📅 Date: 19th July 2025
⏰ Time: 12:30 PM
All proceeds from the event and a portion of tee sales will go directly to support Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care. So every shirt you buy isn’t just a style statement — it’s a show of support.
Why “GET THE BREAD”?
Sure, it’s a catchy phrase. But it’s more than just a slogan.
“Get the bread” is about:
-
Hustling hard
-
Overcoming obstacles
-
Feeding your ambition
-
Supporting your community
It’s about going after what you want — unapologetically — while lifting up those around you. Whether you’re in the ring or walking down the street, this message hits hard.
Who Should Wear This Tee?
Let’s keep it real: this shirt’s not just for boxers.
It’s for:
-
Students grinding through exams
-
Parents holding it down for their families
-
Athletes chasing greatness
-
Creators pushing limits
-
Anyone fighting silent battles
If you’re working, striving, or just trying to make it through the day with your head high — this one’s for you.
